SERVICE is at the HEART of Every Kiwanis Club

Kiwanis Club of Tacoma Supports:

Lincoln Key Club – Stadium Key Club – Mt. Tahoma Key Club

The Kiwanis Service Club for students of Lincoln, Stadium and Mt. Tahoma High Schools, taking an active role in services to the children of the community. Each year our club offers scholarship opportunities to Key Club members.

Terrific Kids Program

Teams of club members visit ten (10) elementary schools monthly to honor students chosen by their classmates and teachers as caring, helpful and positive models for their fellow students.

Project Eliminate

A project of Kiwanis International, in cooperation with UNICEF, to help eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus in third world countries. Monetary contributions from our club help save the lives of countless mothers and babies across the world.

Emergency Food Network

EFN is the primary supplier of food resources for food banks in Pierce County. Table collections at our weekly meetings are passed along to help fight hunger for those most in need.

Service Projects

Our service projects range from an annual Christmas party for the families at a local homeless shelter, to the refurbishing of a scout camp, to improvements at a local child care center, to providing backpacks for needy kids at the start of the school year.

The range of our projects are as unlimited as the minds of our members in finding new ways to benefit the children of our community.
