There are many ways to measure an Everyday Heroine.  For some, it is a long-time, consistent effort.  For others, it is being there for many different activities. And often, it’s a combo.

That’s the way it’s been for our Everyday Heroine Debbie Weber.  For 20 years, she has been a community volunteer supporting our Kiwanis Club of Tacoma’s many, varied volunteer activities.

Examples of things she has done with Kiwanis include:

The many times we’ve assembled toy baskets at Toy Rescue Mission,

The club’s Signature Project at the Tacoma Rescue Mission’s Adams St Family Campus Christmas party,

The adult staffing for Tacoma Public School’s Chess tournaments,

Projects with the Pacific Harbors Council Boy Scouts,

Projects with the Point Defiance Zoo,

And many other miscellaneous work projects in the community.

Thank you Debbie Weber. You’re helping improve our world, one community and one child at a time.
