The new playlot at the Tacoma Rescue Mission’s Adams St. Family Campus groundbreaking honored kids. Taking a break from preschool, four children donned hard hats and reflective vests for their starring role.

The new playlot is the Centennial Project of the Kiwanis Club of Tacoma. The playlot will be finished in time for the summer activities for children residing at the Adams St. Family Campus.

Supporters of the playlot are the Kiwanis Club of Tacoma Foundation, the Names Family Foundation, the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, the PNW Kiwanis Foundation and numerous local businesses and individuals.
