The Kiwanis Club of Tacoma has joined with Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity as a 2019 sponsor of Paint Tacoma/Pierce Beautiful by Associated Ministries.

Since 1985, more than 2,200 houses have been painted throughout Pierce County. In 2019, we plan to paint 27 more in the City of Tacoma!

Founded in 1985, Paint Tacoma-Pierce Beautiful organizes volunteer crews each summer to paint the exteriors of homes of low-income based on HUD guidelines, elderly and disabled homeowners. Currently, due to funding limitations, homes must be located within Tacoma city limits.

Houses are assigned in late June and are completed by the end of August/early September.  You can gather friends, family, group members or co-workers to form a Paint Crew, or sign up as an individual to be placed with a team.  Training is in June. Technical advice is available from expert painters.  Apply on the link below.
