The Kiwanis Club of Tacoma acknowledges there are many Everyday Heroes in our community.

They come from community organizations, assist non-profits in their service delivery and perform work, service and give compassion that may never get done otherwise.  They are crossing guards at school, food packers at food banks, readers of children’s books, grass cutters at churches, cooks at food kitchens, coaches and leaders at youth and Scouts organizations. And many more. So much more.

Our Kiwanis Club is beginning its own recognition program of these Everyday Heroes.  It is a recognition that we may make as often as monthly.  And not a more fitting first recipient could be had than Hans Zeiger.
